Here's how you can I make a copy of a key even if you don't have the key with you.

In most cases the original keys that came with the lock have a 5-6 diget code on the back (one side) of the key. In most cases these code can be used by a Locksmith to create a new key by code.

* When aquiring new keys look for this code on the key, write it on some thing you will keep with you.
