The 98 series has a ribbed/grooved boby in compaired to the 99 series witch has a smooth body, Designed for use on flush and wide stile doors, and fits 86 and 161 stock hollow metal cutouts. 98 Rim Devices for all types of single doors and double doors with mullion, UL Listed for Panic Exit Hardware. Covers stock hollow metal doors with 86 or 161 cutouts. Features: Nonhanded, field sizeable, ¾" throw, latch bolt, latch bolt deadlocking, brushed Chrome finish 26D (626), hex key dogging.

Von Duprin designs and manufactures exit devices in accordance to ISO 9001 Quality Management System and meets or exceeds accepted U.S. domestic and International standards. All 98 and 99 series exit devices are UL listed for Panic Hardware or Fire Hardware, and are certified to ANSI A156.3, 2001, Grade 1. Many models are also certified for Hurricane Resistant Applications.
